【摘要】:1.1Scope.1.1.1Thisstandardshallestablishtheminimumrequirementsforthedesign,performance,testing,documentation,andcertificationofprotectiveensemblesandensembleelementsforprotectionfromchemicals,biologicalagents,andradiologicalparticulates(CBRN)terrorismagents.1.1.2*ThisstandardshallestablishrequirementsforprotectiveensemblesandensembleelementsthatarewornforasingleexposureatincidentsinvolvingCBRNterrorismagents.1.1.3ThisstandardshallestablishrequirementsfornewCBRNprotectiveensemblesandensembleelements.1.1.4*ThisstandardshallnotestablishrequirementsforrespiratoryprotectionforincidentsinvolvingCBRNterrorismagents.AppropriaterespiratoryprotectionfortheincidentsinvolvingspecificCBRNterrorismagentexposureisacriticalpartofoverallprotectionandshallbespecifiedandprovidedbytheauthorityhavingjurisdiction.1.1.5Thisstandardshallnotestablishrequirementsforanyfire-fightingapplications.1.1.6*Thisstandardshallnotestablishrequirementsforprotectionatincidentsinvolvingionizingradiation,liquefiedgas,cryogenicliquidhazards,explosives,orexplosiveatmospheres.1.1.7*CBRNprotectiveensemblesandensembleelementsthatarecertifiedascompliantwithNFPA1994shallbepermittedalsotobecertifiedtoNFPA1991,StandardonVapor-ProtectiveEnsemblesforHazardousMaterialsEmergencies,NFPA1992,StandardonLiquidSplash-ProtectiveEnsemblesandClothingforHazardousMaterialsEmergencies,andthesingle-userequirementsofNFPA1999,StandardonProtectiveClothingforEmergencyMedicalOperations.1.1.8Thisstandardshallnotapplytoanyaccessoriesthatcouldbeattachedtothecertifiedproduct,beforeorafterpurchase,butarenotnecessaryforthecertifiedproducttomeettherequirementsofthisstandard.1.1.9ThisstandardshallnotbeconstruedasaddressingallofthesafetyconcernsassociatedwiththeuseofcompliantCBRNprotectiveensemblesandensembleelements.ItshallbetheresponsibilityofthepersonsandorganizationsthatusecompliantCBRNprotectiveensemblesandensembleelementstoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.1.10Thisstandardshallnotbeconstruedasaddressingallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwiththeuseofthisstandardbytestingfacilities.ItshallbetheresponsibilityofthepersonsandorganizationsthatusethisstandardtoconducttestingofCBRNprotectiveensemblesandensembleelementstoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortousingthisstandardforanydesigning,manufacturing,andtesting.1.1.11Nothinghereinshallrestrictanyjurisdictionormanufacturerfromexceedingtheseminimumrequirements.
