【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversspecificationsfortheperformanceofsportsshoe-surfacetractionmeasuringdevices,butdoesnotrequireaspecificdeviceormechanismtobeused.showschematicdiagramsofgenericapparatus.Thistestmethodisappropriateformeasuringtheeffectsofathleticshoeoutsoledesignandmaterialsontractionattheshoe-surfaceinterface.Thistestmethodisappropriateformeasuringtheeffectsofsportsurfacedesignandmaterialsontractionattheshoe-surfaceinterface.Thistestmethodspecifiestestproceduresthatareappropriateforbothfieldandlaboratorytesting.Tractioncharacteristicsmeasuredbythistestmethodencompassfrictionforcesdevelopedbetweenshoeoutsolesandplayingsurfaces.Tractioncharacteristicsmeasuredbythistestmethodencompasstractionachievedbypenetrationofcleatsorstudsintoplayingsurfaces.Thistestmethodspecifiestestproceduresforthemeasurementoftractionduringlineartranslationalmotionandrotationalmotion,butnotsimultaneouscombinationsoflinearandtranslationalmotion.Theloadsandloadratesspecifiedinthistestmethodarespecifictosportsactivities.Thetestmethodisnotintendedformeasurementofslipresistanceortractionofpedestrianfootwear.Testresultsobtainedbythismethodshallbequalifiedbythecharacteristicsofthespecimen.Comparativetestsofsurfacesshallbequalifiedbythecharacteristicsoftheshoesusedtotestthesurfaces,includingthecushioning,outsolematerial,andsoledesign.Comparativetestsofshoesshallbequalifiedbythepertinentcharacteristicsofthesurfacesonwhichshoesaretested,includingthesurfacetype,material,condition,andtemperature.Thistestmethoddoesnotestablishperformanceorsafetycriteria.Theleveloftractionrequiredbetweenasportshoeandsurfacevarieswiththelevelofperformanceandfromindividualtoindividual.Theextenttowhichparticularlevelsoftractioncontributetoindividualathleticperformanceandriskofinjuryisnotknown.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
