【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforvitreousenamelcoatingsasappliedtopanelsforuseintheconstructionoftanksforstoringgeneralindustrialandmunicipaltreatmentliquids.Thesetankcoatingsandtheirapplicationshouldnotbeconfusedwithglasscoatedreactionvesselssuchasaremanufacturedandusedbythechemicalindustry,whicharecoatedwithglassontheinsidesurfacesonlyandaredesignedforbothhightemperatureandhighpressure.ThisBritishStandardappliestothevitreousenamellingelementsofthemanufacturingprocess,howeverthesamequalitycriteriaoutlinedinclause7applytothetankasbuilt.Inadditiontothedefinitiverequirements,thisstandardalsorequirestheitemdetailedinclause4tobedocumented.ForcompliancewiththisBritishStandard,boththedefinitiverequirementsandthedocumenteditemhavetobesatisfied.
